Signature Event

Description: Mix and mingle with your Longhorn Community! Learn about campus resources who support a sense of belonging to help you feel more connected while enjoying live performances, creating your own customizable "good vibes" jar, and great food.

Texas Soccer vs. LSU – FREE Raising Cane’s!

Signature Event

Description: The first 500 UT students will get FREE Raising Cane’s before the defending Big 12 Champion Texas Longhorns take on the LSU Tigers!  Food will be distributed starting at 6:30 p.m. so arrive early and bring the Texas Fight!  Please leave your backpacks at home as Myers Stadium is a clear bag facility.

UTLA & UTNY: Beyond the Forty Acres

Description: Stop by the UTLA and UTNY table for a snack and chat with staff about spending a semester in Los Angeles or New York! We can answer your questions about classes, internships, the application process, and how to start preparing now.

Description: Join us for our annual GWBienvenida event where we welcome students back to campus with free food, beverages and new Latino Studies and Black Studies swag! Co-hosted by Latino Studies and Black Studies at UT Austin.

Neurodiversity Welcome Mixer

Campus Event

Description: Co-hosted by Longhorn TIES Neurodiversity Support, Disability & Access, and the Disability Cultural Center, this come-and-go social event will be open to the UT community of neurodivergent students, faculty, staff, and allies. Stop by and bring your friends for snacks, crafts, fidgets, giveaways, games, and more.

How to Succeed in UT Math Courses

Campus Event

Description: It can be difficult to know whether your current strategies are strong. Join us for advice from experienced tutors, mathematics graduate students, and a math learning specialist on how to approach your fall math course. Topics include: starting strong (refresher options), utilizing resources (Prof/TA/UGTA office hours, the PEARL, tutoring options and strategies), exam prep (including collecting good additional practice problems), managing your time, forming effective study groups, etc.

Description: Adelante is a welcome program held by Latinx Community Affairs (LCA), an agency of the Multicultural Engagement Center. Adelante is an opportunity for you to find your familia at UT. Join us for a night of music, FREE food, t-shirts and goodies. Students will have the opportunity to learn about various student organizations and resources available to the Latinx community.

Global Sustainability Leadership Institute Information Session

Campus Event

Description: Join the Global Sustainability Leadership Institute for an information session about our undergraduate sustainability minor, experiential learning programs, student organizations, and events! You can also network with other students interested in our pillars of corporate sustainability, sustainable finance, impact entrepreneurship, and sustainability communications. This session will be held in the GSLI Impact Hub, CBA 3.302. We will have snacks!

Description: If you are a health professions student looking around at which area of health care to pursue, take a moment to learn about the over 100 career pathways in pharmacy that you can pursue by earning your Pharm.D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) degree. Come check it out! We'll plan to have two pre-pharmacy student organizations who will be telling you why you should join their group.
